Collectively, we’ve seen more changes in the past few years than we’ve experienced in the past decade. Among those changes, we are currently experiencing the most competitive talent landscapes in memory. Coined by Texas A&M professor Anthony Klotz as the Great Resignation, attracting and retaining talent requires new and innovative strategies. Candidate and employee expectations have changed irrevocably since the 2020 pandemic triggered a number of workplace changes. COVID safety concerns, long-lasting job dissatisfaction, financial cushions, and new caregiving responsibilities at home were just the beginning.
